為學員提供在各個技術領域上的知識；
為學生建立嚴謹的概念架構；
鼓勵學生獨立思考問題，建立解決方案及考量其可行性並確切執行；
鼓勵創意及邏輯思考，以及其表達技巧；
學習多元的知識，包括社會，經濟及其專業領域;
令教學具有挑戰性，同時能提高學習興趣;
發展解決問題的能力及決策技巧。


本課程自2002年開始已獲當時的學術評審局認可，為最早獲政府認可的海外學士學位課程之一多個主修選擇，可根據個人喜好及經驗選擇合適課程課程由海外及本地講師聯合教授


學生可選以下主修 : 會計財務市場學管理資訊系統

工商學學士學位獲以下專業團體認可

主修會計: The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA),
CPA Australia,
The National Institute of Accountants (NIA),
The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).

主修財務: The Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance.

主修市場學 – 畢業生可申請以下學會成為會員:

全日制：３年，每年有２個學期。兼讀制：４年，每年有３個學期。


申請者可根據以往學歷申請學科豁免。一般而言，持有高級文憑或副學士學位者可獲豁免最多１６科。選讀主修會計之學員最多只可豁免１２科。


工商學學士學位學員需完成 24個單元(科目)包括 : 8 個必修核心科目 (所有主修適用), 8個主修科目, 及 8個選修科目
