- This programme is one of the three belonging to the first batch of non-local programmes which have gone through the accreditation processes of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic & Vocational Qualification (HKCAAVQ) in 2002.
- Lectures are delivered by both overseas and local lecturers.

Majors in the Bachelor of Business have accreditations as follows:
| Accounting Major: |
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA),
CPA Australia,
The National Institute of Accountants (NIA),
The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).

| Finance Major: |
The Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance.
|
| Marketing Major: |
graduates are eligible to apply for membership with the Australian Market and Social Research Society and the Australian Marketing Institute. |

Advanced standing is the recognition which may be granted to enrolled students for other study at an appropriate institution in an area relevant to the current programme. It is considered on individual basis and subject to approval by the Institute.
Generally speaking, students who are Higher Diploma or Associate Degree holders can obtain a maximum exemption of 16 units (subjects). However, for Accounting Major students, the maximum exemption would only be 12 units. |
