Hong Kong Institute of Technology (HKIT) as a member of the Federation of Continuing Education in Tertiary Institutions is a non-profit making institute which offers government recognized overseas degree programmes.
All the programmes that are offered by HKIT are recognized by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). In the past 20 years, over 3000 students graduated from HKIT with an associated degree or an Australian degree.
The bachelor, master and doctoral degree programmes co-offered by HKIT and the Australian University are the only overseas programmes in Hong Kong that have obtained HKCAAVQ accreditation. Because of that, our programmes are government recognized and students who are studying in them are eligible to apply for the Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP).
