Students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the 30% tuition fee reimbursement or Full Fee Reimbursement (FFR) from the Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA)
- subject to their having passed an overall assessment
- having achieved 80% attendance or above
- have not obtained financial assistance for the same module
under the Continuing Education Fund

Full-time PYJ students are eligible to apply for STS under the following conditions:
- passed the means test and are issued with Eligibility Certificate for either FULL (i.e. AFI = $0 to $20,882) or HALF (i.e. AFI = $20,883 to $55,767 assistance;
- are Hong Kong residents;
- are not in receipt of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance;
- reside beyond 10 minutes' walking distance from their normal place of study and have the need to travel to school by public transport.
