Congratulation to our ADBA student, Lok Cheong Wo, Sam, who won third prize in the Federation for Continuing Education in Tertiary Institutions Sub-degree Singing Contest held on Saturday, 28 March 2009, against contastents from 14 other institutions. Sam is the first student in HKIT history to have attained such achievement.
Sam is the winner of the Associate Degree section of our own Singing Contest held last month. He was born with a beautiful voice but has never had any formal vocal training. After he won our own contest, HKIT sponsored him to have vocal lesson from a vocal teacher who helped him with his breathing and singing style.
We are very proud of his success. |
