Hong Kong Institute of Technology, as a non-profit making tertiary institute having a long history providing accredited Bachelor degree and Associate degree full time and part time programme in Hong Kong. Four degree, master and doctorate degree programmes are jointly provided by Southern Cross University Australia which is the only accredited non-local programme in Hong Kong. Due to this accreditation, together with the professional recognition by Australian professional bodies, the quality of the programme can be assured. That would benefit students in the way of occupation and the applying for government subsidies (Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students)

For Higher Diploma graduates:

For students who wanted to admit to bachelor degree of HKIT:

Students, who are graduated from science or commercial subject, may also apply for the Accounting major of bachelor degree. Students are eligible to apply for non-means tested loan.

For Higher Certificate graduates

For students who wanted to admit to bachelor degree of HKIT:

Students can change their area of specialty, the related subjects studied in the past will be considered to exempt.

Subsidy
Eligible to apply for Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP)
Student who graduates with average credit or above will be rewarded by tuition reimbursement of half of tuition fee. There are numerous VTC graduate have successfully fulfilling the requirement and graduated with a bachelor degree.
