Seminar of ‘How to Enhance Children’s Social Skills’ was successfully held

HKIT International Child Development Programme’s seminar of ‘How to Enhance Children’s Social Skills’ was successfully held on 18th February 2017 (Saturday) in Sham Shui Po Campus, Hong Kong Institute of Technology. The seminar was divided into 2 sessions, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Ms. Lee Yi-ying, Principal of Kowloon True Light School and Ms. Yip Ching-man, Designated Principal of Kowloon True Light School (Kindergarten Section) addressed the common socializing difficulties of children and shared some parenting skills for parents to enhance children’s confidence and communication skills.  They pointed out that observation, relation-building, patience and time-spending with children are four key points to foster children’s social abilities.
