Financial Subsidy and Scholarship

There are various financial subsidies and scholarship provided to HKIT students by the Institute and the Hong Kong government.

Full time and Part time students of HKIT can apply for Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) or Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS). In addition, HKIT also offers financial subsidies to those students who have underprivileged financial background.

In the past two years, HKIT was offered a scholarship amount of around $1.5 million by the Education Bureau of HKSAR, and over 50 of our Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree students have been awarded with scholarships on various criteria. HKIT also has its own scholarships for students with excellent academic or non-academic achievements.
