This programme is accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). Students are eligible to apply for Grant/Loan through the Financial Assistance Schemes provided by the Hong Kong Government ( http://www.wfsfaa.gov.hk ).

 

2+1 Top Up Articulation (top up degree page)

HKIT Associate Degree Graduates may proceed to study the one-year top-up degree programmes of Teesside University, an awarded university in the UK. The students are eligible to apply for a one-semester exchange at Teesside University’s Middlesbrough campus, which is covered by the Hong Kong tuition. This significantly increases students’ international exposure and future employability.

 

The Teesside University degree programmes offered by HKIT are recognized by the Hong Kong government. Students who are eligible for the “Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme for Self-financing Undergraduate Studies in Hong Kong” (NMTSS) will be provided with an annual subsidy up to HK$30,800 in the 2018/19 academic year.

 

 

Prospects

All students successfully completing this programme are eligible for admission to the top-up-degree programme offered by the Institute.
