Student Webmail
Email is the official communication channel in HKIT, which is provided by Microsoft Office 365. Staff and students can access their mailboxes via Webmail, Outlook App and/or Microsoft Outlook.
Goto Webmail system:
Apps does not support password change at the first logon;
please use web interface (ie https://www.hkit.edu.hk/o365 or https://www.office.com/) to access at the first logon to perform default password change.

The email address combination format:
Student ID+@student.hkit.hk
Example:
12360001@student.hkit.hk
Default Password
For Degree Students
The default password combination format is as follows:
The first characters "T" in uppercase, and the second character "d" in lowercase, plus the middle 6 digits of your HKID numbers.
Td+The middle 6 digits of your HKID number
Example:
- IF
- HKID: A123456/7

- Td123456
For Higher Diploma Students
The default password combination format is as follows:
The first characters "H" in uppercase, and the second character "d" in lowercase, plus the middle 6 digits of your HKID numbers.
Hd+The middle 6 digits of your HKID number
