  • Are entitled to study one semester in UK at Hong Kong local tuition fee

 

Students in the 2-year Associate Degree programmes, upon articulating to the final year of the Teesside University Degree programmes:
  • Are entitled to study one semester in UK at Hong Kong local tuition fee

 

 

*Students take part in the Exchange Programme have to comply with the curriculum arrangement and satisfy the requirements for VISA application. Students shall be aware of their eligibility of post-secondary student financial assistance scheme during the exchange period. Please contact our staff for further details.

  • HKDSE Level 3 in three subjects, Level 2 in one subject, and Level 4 in one subject; or

  • HKALE D in three AL subjects, pass in English; or
  • Any other combination using with Tariff point200 or above; or
  • Aged 23 or above on commencement of the programme, subject to relevant experience and ability to succeed as per the University’s APEL regulations

Remarks:

  • DSE applicants are allowed to use MAXIMUM two Applied Learning subjects as extra electives in the application
  • HKDSE applicants have to attain Level 3 or above in English Language. Applicants applying BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance programme have to attain Level 1 or above in Mathematics, and attain Level 2 or above in Mathematics for enrolling into HKICPA’s Qualification Programme under the accredited status.

The IT sector requires employees equipped with various skills from programming, network management, database management, system administration, to system development management. The programme BSc (Hons) Computing is able to provide suitable graduates for the sector. Its curriculum includes a large amount of programing and networking modules, which will not only build solid foundation for students but also providing them emerging technology (e.g. cloud computing and mobile network). Most of the modules require students to response to a real world problem or task by preparing proposals and computer products. Each student is required to submit an independent project at their final year as a capstone module, which will enable potential employers to identify what the student had learnt through out the programme during job interviews.

Teesside has partnered with Hong Kong Institute of Technology since 2012, when they offered their first batch of degree programmes in Hong Kong. The programmes are accredited by the HKCAAVQ. Students may apply for a government grant and loan scheme through SFO. Graduates of the programmes may apply for government jobs that require bachelor degree qualifications.

 

 

Feature

This course uses a combination of lectures, seminars and practical sessions to give you a thorough grounding in all aspects of crime and investigation, both from a social science and a forensic science perspective. These discipline areas sometimes produce competing theories, all of which are central to the study of the investigation process.

During your second and third stages, you can choose from a wide range of modules to cement your expertise in certain areas, such as understanding domestic violence, or drugs and society. You have access to our superb facilities throughout your degree, and you're in good company.
