Course Objectives

Audit and Assurance: This module aims to develop students' knowledge and understandings of the audit process and its application in the context of the professional regulatory framework. Advanced Financial Management: This module aims to introduce the contemporary financial management concepts and principles so as to enhance the abilities of the students to determine the most appropriate operational financial decisions, and analyse the effects of those decisions on a firm's performance and financial position. The module also aims to help students to understand the appropriateness, the advantages / shortcomings of various financial management techniques and tools and use them accordingly to maximise value.

Assessment and Completion Requirement

(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Essay (30%), (2) Examination (70%) (B) Completion and CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Passing Mark : Each Assessment obtain 40% or above and overall obtain 50% or above (2) At least 70% of the total contact hours of the course
