All Degree Programmes have earned the academic accreditation by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualification (HKCAAVQ) as meeting the accreditation standards at QF Level 5 (at the same level of a Bachelor Degree).
Upon graduation, graduates can pursue postgraduate studies in criminology or related fields or apply for civil service jobs or jobs in disciplinary forces.

Year 1 (Level 4) Entry
Minimum Admission Requirements
- HKDSE 15 points in five subjects (Level 1 = 1 point and Level 5** = 7 points) with minimum Level 3 in both English and Mathematics, and no subjects are at Level 1; or
- Qualifications with equivalence of the above standards
- Aged 21 or above prior to the commencement of the programme, subject to the prior learning and experience requirements by University of West London
Remark:
- An Applied Learning subject (ApL) with “Attained with Distinction” or “Attained with Distinction (I)” is recognized as one level 3 subject. And "Attained with Distinction (II)" is recognized as one level 4 subject. Applicants may use not more than two Applied Learning subjects in each application.
- While the typical entry with 112 UCAS tariff points is comparable to HKDSE score of 17, students with a total HKDSE score of 15 or 16 will be considered and offered a place subject to a satisfactory interview for admission and final sign off by UWL.
- Students with Level 2 in any one of the 5 subjects, e.g. Mathematics, will be considered as special entry and offered a place subject to a satisfactory interview for admission and sign off by UWL.
Special Entry
Other applicants not meeting the above requirements or with no formal qualifications will be considered on an individual basis taking into account their professional / work / life experiences and their ability to engage with and benefit from the course.

學生如符合「為修讀香港自資學士學位課程學生提供的免入息審查資助計劃（“資助計劃”）」的申請資格，可在 2026/27學年獲得最高35,120元的資助. 就讀相關課程的合資格學生，只需支付扣除了資助金額的學費。有關詳情，請瀏覽 www.cspe.edu.hk/nmtss。
申請資格:
在2026/27學年起，所有獲合資格院校取錄修讀其開辦的全日制經本地評審本地及非本地自資學士學位 (包括銜接學位)課程的香港學生均可以獲得資助。
以下學生不符合申請資格：
- 非本地學生。
- 已獲取學士學位或以上資歷。
- 同時修讀資助學士學位或副學位課程(例如大學教育資助委員會(UGC)資助課程、香港演藝學院資助課程或「指定專業／界別課程資助計劃」(SSSDP)下獲資助學額)。
Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP)
FASP provides means-tested financial assistance to needy full-time students pursuing locally-accredited, self-financing post-secondary education programmes at the level of associate degree, higher diploma or degree. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to needy students so that no eligible students will be denied access to post-secondary education because of lack of means.

The Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS)
The NLSPS is used to complement the Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) to provide loan(s) to eligible students to settle tuition fees of locally-accredited, self-financing full-time post-secondary education programmes at the level of associate degree, higher diploma or degree

Self-financing post-secondary scholarship scheme (SPSS)
To promote the development of the self-financing post-secondary sector, the Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) is set up under the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund to offer scholarships and awards to students pursuing full-time locally-accredited self-financing sub-degree or bachelor's degree (including top-up degree) programmes at non-profit-making education institutions.
